An Age of Sigmar Escalation League

Introduction: After the Seraphon secured the Realmgate in the Roaring Plains of Ghur, the portal to Chamon was opened! The armies of the Lizardmen poured through the realmgate to find themselves standing outside of the Silverway.

This oneway portal can take warbands to any of the mortal realms, however proper words of power are required to open these oneway paths to the realms beyond.

The quest begins to find the words of power necessary to open the Silverway to the different realms of existence to further the goals of conquest for the warring armies of the Mortal Realms.

Will you find the words of power and secure your faction's future as conquerors of all mortal and immortal life?

Where to Play: Battle Brothers Miniature Wargaming or approved exceptions under extreme circumstances.

Cost: $10 per person entering the league paid to the store.

Army Composition: Armies will be constructed from your faction's most recent battletome and must follow all matched play guidelines for the point level assigned for the month.

Escalation Points and End of Event Tournament:

Escalations will increase as follows:

• Month 1: November 20th -> December 17th: 1000 Points

• Month 2: December 18th -> January 28th: 1500 Points

• Month 3: January 28th -> March 17th: 2000 Points

Prize Support: will be generated from the entry fee and will be assigned to First Over-all, Best Painted and Best Sportsman.

Games: Each month players will be randomly assigned 2 opponents and games must be completed in a 2 week time period and reported to the event Organizer in the Discord channel created for the League in the Battle Brothers Discord. A victory in these assigned games will count as 2 points in your overall score. Additionally every two weeks a friendly game can be played as well to accumulate additional points for victory.

Missions must be generated from the Generals Handbook 2022-2023 (or 2023-2024 which ever is the most recent at the time of question) and all Grand Strategies must be chosen from this book as well, or; your factions from either their battletome or from a White Dwarf (whichever is newest).

ATTENTION: Battle Tactics and Grand Strategies from the Contest of Generals Battle Pack from the Core Rulebook will NOT be available to players. Universal Enhancements will be available to all.

Painting: 1 Point will be awarded to all individuals who paint up to that months points limit in models (ie if the month is at 1000 points players must have 1000 points painted to earn the point)

• To be considered painted the models must be Table-top 3 color standard to be considered and within a similar scheme to one another.
  An additional point will be awarded if the models are based as well as painted.

• To be awarded best painted all your models for a complete 2000 point army must meet at least the above standard to be considered.

Best Painted will be decided at an announced date sometime after the 2000 point Escalation where all competing armies will be invited to be displayed for judging by store employees and management.

Army Background: 1 point will be awarded to each general that writes a background for their army explaining why they are participating in the War in the Realm of Gold and Riches. Please give an in-universe reason as to why they are participating.  This point can only be earned once during the league. Once you’ve earned it will be added to your total point value. (Minimum length for background should be approximately 1 paragraph.)

Point Distribution:
The total number of points that can be earned every month is as follows:

• 2 for winning Main league games

• 2 for winning friendlies

• 1 for painting your army according to Standards

• 1 for Basing your army

This brings the total to 6 possible points per month. Additional one point will be added during any of the 4 months with appropriate army lore.

Rulings and Rule Disputes: Any issues with rules or rulings will be handled by any currently in store Battle Brothers staff, their ruling once involved will be final.

Attendance: If you and your opponent cannot meet in the allotted time period please contact David Koltermann (David K. or Light477 On discord) as soon as possible. Along the same lines if there are issues with meeting up for games please allow for some leniency but if issues persist; again, please contact David as soon as possible.

Sign ups begin November 6th and will end November 20th
